I met Charles Porter from United Coalition East Prevention Project when I was working on a cover story for the LA Weekly, Coming Of Age In The Mouth Of Madness. He was advocating to clean up the Ford Hotel. Now owned by SRO Housing Corp, the 25 million dollar transformation is slated for completion in December.

excerpt: “Man, it was ghetto up in the Ford. Crackheads and handicap people. Lots of murders, lots of killings. I even witnessed a death right in my face. She was like a mother to me. It was messed up, seeing her die.”

I’m extremely inspired along with your writing skills as smartly as with
the format on your weblog. Is that this a paid theme or did you
customize it your self? Either way stay up the excellent high quality writing, it’s uncommon to look a nice weblog like this one nowadays..
